I Photographed #11 of the concert series ‘Aardlek’ of Orkest de Ereprijs. Each of the concert series has a particular theme that will be worked into a composition by different composers from their own perspective. The theme for this concert season is 'More communication! Less connection?

This concert had a premiere by Niko Schroeder ‘Ascending Piece’ (YCM 2023 laureate) and a special guest photographer Maartje Smit (Wanderlicious Photography).

Orkest de Ereprijs performs works by living composers, as well as interdisciplinary projects by a diverse group of creators in genres such as dance, theatre and film. They commission young composers with professional pieces for our orchestra and perform these in The Netherlands and internationally, in order to support young talent.
